Tree Bark


These images feature a short focal length, shot with a wide open normal lens in late morning autumn light. I find the texture of trees fascinating. Like snowflakes, no two appear alike when seen from close up. They come alive in texture and shadow. These images were taken in the Berkshires and the foothills of the Adirondacks.
