These photographs were taken on the front deck of the BluSeed Studio in Saranac Lake, NY. They depict the inner workings of an upright piano that was aging gracefully in the face of time and weather. Weathered wood, rusting iron, frayed hammers, brass still shiny. They were included in the exhibit, "In Tune", at BluSeed Studio (March 2013).
